Beta Alpha Psi

Beta Alpha Psi (BAP) is an international honorary organisation for accounting, finance and information systems students and professionals with a vision to shape business professions by developing members into ethical, professional, and confident leaders. To achieve this, our chapter provides opportunities for self-development, service, and interaction with practicing professionals, encourages a sense of ethical, social and public responsibility, while promoting the study and practice of accountancy.

BAP provides the essential link between taught theory and practice by providing a safe environment for students to interact, develop skills, and build relationships with potential employers. BAP members develop leadership skills, have a commitment to lifelong professional development and ethical behaviour, and are rewarded for their academic success throughout their membership.

 

BAP also has huge credibility for the University of Waikato’s AACSB accreditation making the world class education highly sought after. As a result, BAP actively contributes in establishing well-rounded, equipped University of Waikato graduates who embark on a long lasting and successful career.
